Adopting A Puppy

Monts's Mi-ki's is committed to placing puppies in loving homes. To help make the best matches between puppies and prospective purchasers, we ask that the adoption application be submitted.

Approximately five weeks after puppies arrive, we will review the applications and send pictures of the puppy or puppies best matching your preferences. In addition, we will provide a detailed progress chart showing how well the puppy is doing. You will then have the opportunity to commit to or decline the adoptive purchase of the puppy. Since we offer the puppies on a first-come-first-served basis, once a commitment is made, you will need to submit a $350 non-refundable deposit (Refund Policy). We accept deposit payments through PayPal to expedite your purchase.

Each puppy adoption includes:

Registration papers with Continental Kennel Club
First puppy shots
Health certification from a licensed veterinarian
Food
Hand-made receiving blanket
Piddle pads
Toys
Photo scrapbook that includes photos of your puppy, its siblings and parents, growth chart, potty-training tips and the Mi-ki story
Pet courier services are available

Because of the traumatic experience associated with shipping, delivery is hand-to-hand, seller-to-buyer only. No pups are allowed to be shipped as cargo or fly as checked baggage. If you fly home with your pup, it must fly in the cabin with you. You must provide us with your airline's health certification requirements so that we can provide necessary documents in compliance with those requirements.
